Today, waiting for the bus, this creepy guy in the terminal kept staring at me. Feeling creeped out, I started walking, knowing I could pick up the bus down the street. When the bus drove up, it was almost completely full and the only open seat was next to the creepy dude from the bus station. FML

Exactly! Lol! I took a picture today, living in NYC there's effing hobo looking people everywhere. I managed to find a creepy looking dude in my picture looking at the camera. Apparently he was right behind me and I didn't notice...I turned around to look, nowhere to be found. Creepers always manage to be creepy. :D

YDI for your poorly thought out strategy and for judging the creepy guy... Its not like he really did anything tother then stare at you. maybe he was just weird. Its not the end of the world...
I feel like we need the other side of the story. Was OP dressed in such a way that Guy would've given her attention? How can OP be sure he was staring unless she was staring back herself (as in, maybe he was interested but just glanced at her and she just kept noticing)? And how do we know Guy was even looking at OP in the first place? I'm reminded of this one FML where the OP got yelled at for staring at a girl when he was simply daydreaming. Finally, why is the first reaction generally "guy looking at woman = creeper" nowadays?
In any case, OP, sorry you had to go through that ordeal.

Some lines do suggest that, but it clashes with others. "While you're outside staring in, remember what you're staring at is me." Makes it clear he is on display to whoever his is singing too. Personally the song reminded me pof the first few seasons of Smallville as lame as that sounds. But for actual meaning, i think he feels he's surrounded by an artifical environment(possibly a metaphore for his celebrety status) while others look on.

Well, for starters, I'm 99% sure this dude was staring at me because we were standing alone in the annex of the bus terminal, and every time I looked up from my book, he was staring.
Secondly, it was almost midnight and this was the same terminal my boyfriend was held up at gunpoint outside of less than a year ago, so I was already on edge.
Third, I didn't sit down. Because the creepy fuck smiled at me when I got on the bus! I stood. But the fact that the only open seat was next to him seemed worth mentioning in context.
That sucks.. I hate buses too, not because of stalkers, but because of the bums and crackheads that go around demanding money outside the bus stations

Sh*t happens, OP. In the last of my days getting the bus home from work, the same old-aged alcoholic would perch himself next to me, pollute my air and fall asleep. The journey lasted about 45-60mins, depending on the traffic. Luckily I get the train now which smells slightly better, as well as being a lot faster and surprisingly cheaper.
